Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed that the BJP-led NDA, having won 102 out of 126 seats in the Assembly elections, is set to pursue a more extensive development plan. Sarma emphasized the increased responsibility towards the people of Assam due to the overwhelming public mandate.
Sarma highlighted that the government’s future strategies will be more ambitious than those outlined during the 2021 elections, which were impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. He mentioned that the administration now possesses greater experience and confidence after successfully executing various welfare programs and infrastructure projects.
The Chief Minister affirmed the alliance’s commitment to translating promises into tangible results and ensuring inclusive development across all segments of society. Sarma also pointed out the significant progress made in sectors like roads, healthcare, education, industrial investment, and connectivity under the current government’s tenure.
The NDA government in Assam has consistently emphasized its achievements in infrastructure expansion, efficient welfare delivery, and enhanced law and order as key accomplishments during its term.
