Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met Union Health Minister J. P. Nadda and Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan in Delhi to discuss the state’s development plans, focusing on healthcare expansion and economic growth.
Sarma highlighted Nadda’s role in strengthening the BJP in Assam and sought his guidance on implementing healthcare initiatives. The state government is prioritizing the enhancement of medical infrastructure, including new colleges and advanced treatment facilities.
Additionally, Sarma briefed Vice President Radhakrishnan on Assam’s growth initiatives, emphasizing the state’s commitment to infrastructure, healthcare, and investment-led development. The aim is to position Assam as a key economic and institutional center in the Northeast.
