Amidst the controversy stirred by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s remarks accusing past state governments of permitting ‘namaz’ at the Hanuman Garhi temple, saints in Ayodhya have rallied in his favor. Chief Minister Adityanath highlighted the issue during a rally in Ayodhya, questioning the allowance of ‘namaz’ at Hanuman Garhi while emphasizing the sanctity of the temple.
Peethadheeshwar of Tapasvi Chhawani Jagadguru Paramhans Das expressed support for CM Yogi Adityanath’s stance, urging adherence to ‘Sanatan Dharma’ principles. He credited the current administration for upholding Ram Rajya and ensuring accountability in cases like the Ram Temple donation theft.
In a similar vein, Mahant Deveshacharya ji Maharaj of Siddh Peeth Hanuman Garhi criticized Akhilesh Yadav of the Samajwadi Party for allegedly disrespecting Sanatan Dharma followers. He accused the SP of promoting communal discord and undermining Hindu unity, echoing the sentiments of other religious leaders in Ayodhya.
Mahamandaleshwar Vishnu Das ji Maharaj commended the Chief Minister for exposing what he termed as the Samajwadi Party’s hypocrisy and anti-Sanatan Dharma agenda. He questioned the SP’s commitment to Lord Ram and the Ram Temple, labeling them as non-devotees and instigators of religious conflict.
Mahant Sitaram Das of Saket Bhavan Temple expressed shame over the past incident of ‘namaz’ being offered at Hanuman Garhi, attributing it to the Samajwadi Party’s governance. He highlighted the event as a point of disgrace for the Hindu community and followers of Sanatan Dharma.
