As Prime Minister Narendra Modi marks 12 years as India’s longest-serving elected government head, Baba Ramdev commended his role in shaping the nation’s present and future. Ramdev highlighted Modi’s introduction of long-term schemes laying the groundwork for India’s development over the next century. Emphasizing Modi’s commitment to an ‘Aatmnirbhar Bharat’ and a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047, Ramdev lauded the Prime Minister’s dedication to transforming India.
Under Modi’s leadership, Ramdev noted the global recognition of yoga, Ayurveda, self-reliance, ‘Sanatan’ culture, and Indian values. He credited Modi for elevating India’s stature internationally and changing perceptions positively. Ramdev also praised Modi’s strategic decisions, such as the abrogation of Article 370 and the construction of the Ram Mandir, for enhancing India’s reputation globally.
Describing Modi as a visionary and influential leader, Ramdev likened his personality to the majestic Himalayas. He predicted that Modi’s contributions would be remembered with gratitude for generations to come, asserting that India would continue to take pride in his leadership. On June 10, Modi surpassed Jawaharlal Nehru’s record to become India’s longest continuously serving elected Prime Minister.
