A five-month-old infant, Yatharth Singh Ranawat, from Sanoria village in Ujjain district, Madhya Pradesh, was flown to Bengaluru for advanced cardiac treatment. The state government’s ‘PM Shri Air Ambulance Service’ facilitated the urgent transfer to Narayana Hospital following doctors’ advice for specialized care. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav assured that the government would cover all expenses under the Ayushman Niramay Yojana.
Yatharth’s condition, diagnosed as complex by Madhya Pradesh doctors, necessitated immediate transfer to a super-speciality hospital. The state government swiftly organized an air ambulance to transport the baby to Bengaluru, known for its advanced paediatric cardiac care facilities. The PM Shri Air Ambulance Service, initiated in May 2024, aims to provide rapid medical transportation for critically-ill patients requiring urgent treatment.
The service, part of the government’s efforts to ensure timely access to advanced healthcare, caters to patients with Ayushman cards for free air ambulance services. Yatharth’s family expressed gratitude for the government’s support, highlighting the financial relief provided by the state’s intervention.
