Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, expressed his gratitude to India during a press meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Jerusalem. Netanyahu shared a personal story about his first date with his wife, Sara, at an Indian restaurant in Tel Aviv. He thanked India for the memorable experience and the delicious food that marked the beginning of their relationship.

Netanyahu praised PM Modi’s visit to Israel as “amazing, extraordinarily productive, and moving.” He highlighted the strong bond between the two countries and the positive impact of their collaboration. The Israeli PM also commended the efficiency of the Indian government under PM Modi’s leadership.

During the joint press conference, Netanyahu announced plans for a Government-to-Government (G2G) meeting between Israel and India. He emphasized the potential for mutual benefits and cooperation in various fields, including innovation and technology. Netanyahu described both nations as “proud ancient civilizations” with a shared commitment to embracing the future through innovation.

Netanyahu underscored the importance of precision in various sectors, such as agriculture and education, to maximize potential and overcome past limitations. He emphasized the significance of innovation in shaping the future and highlighted the collective efforts of Israel and India in driving progress. The Israeli PM reiterated the strong partnership between the two countries and their determination to create a better future together.
