Bollywood actress Bhagyashree has posted a video on social media demonstrating how to make ’tilgul,’ a sweet treat made from sesame seeds and jaggery, in preparation for the upcoming Makar Sankranti festival. In the video, she guides viewers through the step-by-step process of creating the traditional dish, emphasizing its nutritional benefits. Bhagyashree mentions that tilgul is rich in iron, calcium, magnesium, zinc, and fiber, making it an ideal winter snack.

Wishing her followers well for the festival, Bhagyashree sends her greetings for Makar Sankranti and encourages everyone to enjoy tilgul while extending wishes for peace and prosperity. Additionally, she explains the significance of wearing black attire on Makar Sankranti, noting that it serves both symbolic and practical purposes. As the festival falls during winter, the color black helps in absorbing and retaining heat, providing warmth during cold mornings. Bhagyashree also highlights that black symbolizes strength and resilience, paying homage to the valor of Maratha warriors from historical battles.

Known not only for her acting prowess but also for her fitness regimen, the 56-year-old actress often shares health and wellness tips with her fans. Bhagyashree offers various quick hacks to stay in shape despite busy schedules and provides advice for maintaining a pain-free body. Recently, she demonstrated exercises to alleviate stiffness in the body, aiming to help followers wake up without back pain and feel refreshed to tackle each new day with vigor.
