Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao has urged the Telangana government to provide the principal Opposition party, BRS, with the same chance to make a PowerPoint presentation in the Legislative Assembly. He emphasized the importance of upholding parliamentary democracy by allowing both the government and the Opposition to present their perspectives.
K.T. Rama Rao, also known as KTR, highlighted the readiness of the BRS to showcase the advancements in Telangana’s agriculture and irrigation during the party’s governance over the past decade. He stressed the need for fairness and equal opportunity for all members in the Assembly to present their facts and data.
The Telangana government is expected to deliver a PowerPoint presentation on irrigation projects and river water-sharing matters in the Assembly. KTR emphasized the significance of both the government and the Opposition being able to present their versions to ensure transparency and accountability in the legislative process.
KTR criticized the Congress government, questioning its understanding of irrigation and river water issues. He pointed out alleged failures in the irrigation sector under the current regime, citing incidents like the collapse of infrastructure projects and the neglect of key irrigation schemes. KTR called for accountability and highlighted the need for effective governance in managing water resources in Telangana.
