Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K.T. Rama Rao has challenged Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to a public debate on the Congress government’s alleged administrative failures and the state’s governance. Rao expressed readiness for the debate at any location in Telangana and at any time. He vowed to resign from politics if he failed to substantiate his claims against the government with evidence.
Rao criticized Reddy for labeling Telangana as a “bankrupt state” and attributed the financial distress to corruption within the government. He accused Reddy of tarnishing the state’s image with derogatory remarks. Rao highlighted the significant progress made by Telangana under the leadership of K. Chandrasekhar Rao, emphasizing agricultural growth and prosperity.
Refuting allegations of state bankruptcy, Rao cited figures provided by the Union Government regarding Telangana’s debt. He accused Reddy of misrepresenting financial data to portray the state as bankrupt. Rao further criticized the government’s financial management, questioning its priorities and allocation of funds.
