Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar participated in a Dahi-Chura feast hosted by Janata Dal(United) MLA Ratnesh Sada to mark Makar Sankranti. During the event, Ratnesh Sada honored the Chief Minister with a shawl and a bouquet.

The gathering saw the presence of several party leaders and ministers, underscoring the event’s political and social importance. Notable attendees included JD(U) National Working President Sanjay Kumar Jha, Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, and other prominent figures.

In his X handle, the CM shared pictures from the event and earlier extended his wishes to the public for a joyous Makar Sankranti. The festival, celebrated with traditional food like Dahi-Chura and Tilkut, holds significance beyond religious observance in Bihar.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also joined a Dahi-Chura feast at Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha’s residence the day before, emphasizing the festival’s role in promoting social harmony and cultural unity.
