Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary emphasized Bihar’s progress and requested significant financial and institutional support from the Centre at the 11th NITI Aayog meeting in New Delhi. Chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the meeting was attended by Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers from various states and Union Territories. Choudhary highlighted Bihar’s achievements in early childhood care, education, skill development, and infrastructure.
The Chief Minister mentioned the establishment of nutrition gardens, co-located Anganwadi centers, and internet connectivity in government schools. He also noted the training of artisans under the PM Vishwakarma scheme and the upcoming Aryabhatta International Skill Hub in Patna. Bihar sought financial aid for skill development projects, including the establishment of a National Skill Training Institute in Bhagalpur.
Choudhary discussed the state’s initiatives in higher education, sports infrastructure, agriculture, tourism, and industrial development. He highlighted Bihar’s progress under various schemes and requested support for the establishment of educational and research institutions in the state. The Chief Minister expressed confidence in Bihar’s future development and emphasized the state’s commitment to contributing to the nation’s growth.
