Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha visited the parents of the deceased NEET aspirant in Patna, offering assurance of justice. Sinha, moved by the family’s plight, promptly contacted the Director General of Police to expedite the case resolution. He emphasized the need for the culprits to face severe consequences and vowed to ensure justice for the victim.
After meeting the family, Sinha addressed the media, highlighting the government’s commitment to a thorough investigation. He stressed that the case, involving a tragic loss, was a matter of upholding Bihar’s daughters’ dignity. Sinha affirmed that no matter the influence of the accused, stringent action would be taken if the murder was linked to sexual assault.
The investigation is currently under a Special Investigation Team’s scrutiny, with close monitoring by the DGP and the Home Department. Sinha reassured the victim’s family of the police’s dedicated efforts to uncover the truth swiftly. Meanwhile, the deceased girl’s mother expressed grief over alleged harassment by the police and demanded justice for her daughter, emphasizing her innocence in the tragic incident.
