BJP leaders, including Union Ministers, Chief Ministers, and MPs, have assembled in Kolkata for the inauguration of Bengal’s inaugural BJP government. Suvendu Adhikari is poised to become Bengal’s first BJP Chief Minister at the Brigade Parade Ground ceremony. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stressed the commitment of BJP and PM Modi towards development. Union MoS Jayant Chaudhary commended Bengal’s historic mandate, envisioning the state as an economic powerhouse.
BJP MLA-elect Dilip Ghosh hailed the party’s opportunity to govern Bengal after years of struggle. The swearing-in ceremony will be graced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and other prominent leaders. Adhikari’s dual victories in Nandigram and Bhabanipur have solidified his position as the BJP’s choice for leading the state government.
