As per the Election Commission of India’s trends, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is ahead in West Bengal. BJP MP Manoj Tiwari expressed that the mandate is indescribable, thanking the people of West Bengal for their support. Tiwari mentioned that BJP’s lead in over 195 seats signifies the realization of the party’s vision for the state.
He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for regaining public trust, contrasting it with alleged violations by Mamata Banerjee. Tiwari highlighted the emotional connection PM Modi established with small business owners, symbolized by an interaction with a ‘jhalmuri’ vendor. The BJP MP emphasized that recent incidents and issues in West Bengal have prompted a strong response from the public.
With the ongoing vote counting, BJP is poised to secure a majority in the West Bengal Assembly. The latest Election Commission data shows BJP leading in 191 constituencies, with Trinamool Congress following at 97.
