Bharatiya Janata Party’s National President Nitin Nabin is set to embark on his first visit to Jammu and Kashmir since assuming office. During his visit, he will engage in organizational meetings, interact with the youth, and offer prayers at prominent religious sites like Raghunath Temple and Shri Vaishno Devi Shrine.
Nitin Nabin will be accorded a warm reception at various locations upon his arrival, including Jammu Airport, G.B. Pant Hospital, Women’s College near Asia Hotel, and Dogra Chowk, before addressing a workers’ conference at Grand in Mishriwala. Later, he will convene a meeting with party office-bearers at the BJP’s Jammu and Kashmir headquarters to assess organizational matters and discuss the party’s strategy for the region.
The schedule also includes a visit to the historic Raghunath Temple in the evening. The following day, Nabin will visit the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in Katra town before returning to Jammu to pay homage to BJP stalwart Prem Nath Dogra at his statue in Dogra Chowk.
On the second day, Nitin Nabin will hold separate meetings with BJP Members of Parliament, legislators, and former elected representatives. Additionally, he will engage in a Yuva Samvad at the Convention Centre to interact with young party workers and outline the party’s vision and organizational roadmap.
A statement from the Bharatiya Janata Party highlighted that the visit aims to strengthen the party’s grassroots presence in the region through crucial organizational meetings with senior party leaders, office-bearers, and public representatives. The visit holds significance amidst reports of a potential massive organizational restructuring within the BJP coinciding with the speculated reshuffle of the Union Cabinet before the Monsoon session of Parliament commences on July 20.
