Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin is scheduled to visit Lucknow on July 3 and 4 for a two-day organisational tour, as confirmed by party sources. This visit aligns with the BJP’s focused preparations for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. During his time in Lucknow, Nabin will conduct a thorough assessment of the party’s organisational operations and review the state’s election readiness.
The visit holds significance against the backdrop of the forthcoming announcement of the new Uttar Pradesh BJP organisational structure and the party’s strategic plans for the 2027 Assembly elections. Recently, the BJP unveiled a revamped organisational team for Uttar Pradesh, introducing changes to key positions. This restructuring aims to ensure representation across social segments and regions, introducing new faces with substantial responsibilities.
While in Lucknow, the BJP chief is expected to engage in separate discussions with senior party members and representatives of affiliated groups. These meetings will focus on enhancing organisational synergy, grassroots engagement, and outlining the election roadmap. Additionally, Nabin is likely to meet Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) officials to strengthen coordination between the government, the party, and the ideological wing.
Apart from overseeing the formation of the new state team, Nitin Nabin will interact with regional organisational leaders to gather insights on political developments and grassroots readiness. Party insiders anticipate that this visit will be pivotal in shaping the organisational strategy and election approach for Uttar Pradesh in the lead-up to the Assembly elections.
