Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Nitin Nabin, speaking at a booth worker convention in Ahmedabad, criticized Congress, labeling it as a center of “urban Naxalism” that spreads negativity and harms India’s reputation. He highlighted the contrasting approaches of Congress and BJP, emphasizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s positive view of citizens as assets. Nabin underscored the BJP’s focus on decisive leadership and job creation for Gujarat’s youth under Modi’s governance.
Nitin Nabin also remarked on Congress’s transformation into what he called an ‘Italian Congress’ and emphasized the strength of the nation when the lotus blooms, suggesting a weakening of communal forces. He further criticized Rahul Gandhi’s approach to politics as event-centric rather than focused on long-term development. Nabin urged BJP workers to gear up for upcoming local self-government elections, emphasizing the party’s commitment to national strengthening through grassroots efforts.
Gujarat BJP President Jagdish Vishwakarma commended the dedication and sacrifices of party workers, highlighting their selfless contributions as the party’s true wealth. He praised BJP’s organizational structure that allows individuals to progress from grassroots positions to national leadership roles based on merit. Vishwakarma stressed the party’s ethos of service over self-interest, particularly during crises like natural disasters and pandemics.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel lauded BJP as the world’s largest ideology-driven party, emphasizing its commitment to national service over nepotism. He emphasized the significance of robust booth-level organization in delivering government initiatives effectively to citizens, fostering public trust in the party’s governance.
