Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national President Nitin Nabin started his three-day inaugural trip to Punjab by visiting the Golden Temple in Amritsar. After paying his respects at Sri Darbar Sahib, Nabin highlighted the BJP’s vision to shape Punjab akin to Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s governance ideals. He emphasized the significance of Sri Harmander Sahib in Punjab’s global recognition and prayed for the state’s progress and prosperity.
Nabin, hailing from Guru Gobind Singh’s birthplace, Patna Sahib, regarded it as his place of duty and sought peace and harmony for the nation. He expressed optimism for Punjab’s development under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, aiming for prosperity to reach every corner of the state. The visit to the sacred shrine infused Nabin with renewed vigor, inspiring him to serve the nation and Punjab diligently.
Accompanied by key party members, including state BJP President Kewal Dhillon and national General Secretary Tarun Chugh, Nabin also paid homage at Jallianwala Bagh, honoring the martyrs of the 1919 massacre. The BJP delegation, chanting slogans in reverence, later visited the historic Durgiana Temple to pray for national unity and social cohesion. Nabin’s itinerary included a visit to the Sri Ram Tirath Temple, where he honored Bhagwan Valmiki’s spiritual legacy.
