Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin is set to engage with Heads of Missions from 12 countries on Tuesday evening as part of the party’s ‘Know BJP’ initiative. The interaction will occur at the BJP’s Central Headquarters in New Delhi at 4 p.m., according to a party statement.
This initiative is a component of the BJP’s international outreach endeavors to acquaint diplomats with the party’s history, ideological framework, governance model, and organizational operations. Vijay Chauthaiwale, the BJP’s in-charge of the foreign affairs department, announced the event, highlighting its role in ongoing interactions with foreign diplomats.
Nitin Nabin’s upcoming interaction with foreign Mission Heads marks his first formal engagement since assuming office as the BJP National President. The BJP has been actively involved in engaging with Ambassadors and High Commissioners from various countries through its global outreach program ‘Know BJP,’ which was initiated during the tenure of former BJP National President J. P. Nadda.
The party’s interactions typically involve comprehensive presentations on its political journey, documentary screenings, and discussions aimed at fostering enhanced political comprehension and inter-party dialogue at the international level. Since the inception of the initiative, the BJP has conducted engagements with diplomats representing diverse regions worldwide, including the European Union, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and the Indo-Pacific.
In addition to meetings in New Delhi, the outreach program encompasses field visits and on-ground tours where diplomats are invited to observe election campaigns, booth-level management, and grassroots political activities in various states.
