Drawing a comparison to West Bengal, where demographic shifts from illegal Bangladeshi infiltration raised national concerns, BJP National President Nitin Nabin highlighted Punjab’s issues of deteriorating law and order, increasing gang activity, drug problems, and youth migration. Addressing a gathering in Ludhiana, he called for dedicated efforts from Punjab BJP workers to combat these challenges and bring about positive change.
Nabin stressed the need for a strong government in Punjab, similar to the approach taken by BJP workers in West Bengal. He emphasized the importance of addressing the “government plus corporate” culture in Punjab, urging the party to confront corruption and work towards the state’s political and industrial rejuvenation. The BJP is gearing up to contest all 117 Assembly seats in the upcoming elections, with a focus on strengthening grassroots engagement.
Highlighting the significance of grassroots leadership, Nabin underscored the role of booth-level workers in mobilizing voters and driving the party’s agenda. He called for a united effort to tackle issues affecting both urban and rural communities, emphasizing the need for a collective responsibility among party leaders to expand the organization and address public concerns effectively.
