After taking charge as the BJP’s National Working President, Nitin Nabin made his first visit to Patna, where he was warmly greeted by party leaders and thousands of supporters. Upon his arrival at Patna Airport, he was welcomed with a garland of makhana by BJP Bihar State President Sanjay Saraogi and honored with a shawl and bouquet by Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary.
Senior leaders like Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, Mangal Pandey, Dilip Jaiswal, Rituraj Sinha, and Sanjeev Chaurasia were also present to welcome Nabin. A grand roadshow from the airport to Miller High School Ground and the BJP state office followed, with a large convoy of BJP workers carrying saffron flags, drumming, and chanting slogans.
The roadshow was hailed as a demonstration of organizational unity and strength, especially significant as Nabin assumed his national role at the age of 45. However, the massive turnout led to severe traffic congestion in Patna, causing significant delays on routes to the airport, prompting leaders like Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha to walk due to the gridlock.
At Miller High School Ground, preparations were in place for a grand welcome ceremony, featuring a stage adorned with portraits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP National President JP Nadda. Nabin is set to be formally honored, followed by speeches from senior party members and his address to party workers from Bihar.
