BJP National Working President Nitin Nabin spoke at the “Atal Smriti Sammelan” in the Kasturba Nagar Assembly constituency, emphasizing the need for a collective effort to achieve a developed India by 2047. Nabin stressed the significance of relentless dedication to bring about a prosperous era for India, drawing inspiration from Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s determination.
As part of the celebrations marking Vajpayee’s birth centenary, the Delhi BJP is hosting “Atal Smriti Sammelans” at the Assembly level throughout Delhi. The event in the Kasturba Nagar Assembly constituency, held at the Andhra Association Bhawan on Lodhi Road, saw Nabin addressing the audience alongside Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva and other prominent figures. Nabin praised Vajpayee’s ability to communicate effectively and his principled approach to governance, noting his courage in criticizing both the ruling party and opposition members when necessary.
Reflecting on Vajpayee’s impactful speeches, Nabin highlighted the former Prime Minister’s address at the United Nations in Hindi, a moment that instilled pride in every Indian. He credited Vajpayee with revitalizing the global recognition of the Hindi language, following in the footsteps of Swami Vivekananda. Nabin also commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for implementing the ideologies of leaders like Vajpayee and Deendayal Upadhyaya, emphasizing the government’s efforts to empower the marginalized and enhance infrastructure development across the nation.
Nabin underscored the ongoing infrastructure advancements under PM Modi’s leadership, drawing parallels between historical figures like Sher Shah Suri and present-day initiatives like the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. He asserted that PM Modi is actively working towards realizing Vajpayee’s vision for India’s progress, particularly through inclusive governance and infrastructure expansion initiatives.
