Bollywood veteran actress Sadhana Singh fondly remembered her time filming the Holi sequence for the superhit movie “Nadiya Ke Paar.” She expressed her enduring love for the iconic Holi song “Jogi Ji Dheere Dheere” from the film.
In a social media post, Sadhana shared a video of herself joyfully celebrating Holi and dancing to the beloved track. She emphasized the timeless nature of the festival, stating, “Holi then. Holi now. Some colours never fade.”
Reflecting on the song’s significance, Sadhana mentioned that “Jogi Ji Dheere Dheere” holds a special place in her heart, evoking memories of genuine village warmth and camaraderie. She recalled the simplicity and honesty of emotions during the filming of the Holi scenes in “Nadiya Ke Paar.”

The video shared by Sadhana Singh captures her dancing to the iconic song “Jogi Ji Dheere Dheere.” For those unfamiliar, “Nadiya Ke Paar” was a 1982 film directed by Govind Moonis and produced by Rajshri Productions. The movie featured Sachin Pilgaonkar and Sadhana Singh in lead roles, alongside other notable actors.
Rajshri Productions later remade the film in 1994 as “Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!” with the same storyline, which became a blockbuster hit. The roles originally portrayed by Sachin Pilgaonkar and Sadhana Singh were reprised by Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit in the remake.
Sadhana Singh, known for her role in “Nadiya Ke Paar,” also appeared in various Hindi and regional films, including “Sasural,” “Paapi Sansar,” and Bhojpuri movies. After her acting career, she married filmmaker Rajkumar Shahabadi and took a break to focus on her family life.
