Hollywood actor Bruce Campbell, famous for his roles in Evil Dead and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, has disclosed being diagnosed with an “incurable” form of cancer. While not specifying the type, Campbell described it as “treatable.” In a statement on social media, he expressed his intention to prioritize treatment over work commitments.

Campbell, 67, shared that he will be stepping back from appearances and professional engagements to focus on his health. Despite canceling upcoming events, he aims to recover over the summer to promote his new movie Ernie & Emma in the fall. The actor emphasized that his decision to make the diagnosis public was to prevent misinformation and not to seek sympathy or advice.

Known for his iconic role in The Evil Dead franchise, Campbell reassured fans of his resilience and support system. He remains optimistic about his prognosis and looks forward to continuing his work in the industry. Campbell’s upcoming projects include the release of Evil Dead Burn and his comedy film Ernie & Emma, showcasing his diverse talents.
