The leaders engaged in discussions with European counterparts to strengthen collaborative efforts for Ukraine’s security and recovery. Zelensky, who visited Canada before heading to the US for talks with President Donald Trump, is expected to present a 20-point peace proposal to Trump at Mar-a-Lago in Florida.
Zelensky emphasized the importance of enhancing Ukraine’s defense capabilities and negotiation effectiveness. He highlighted the need for proactive measures to counter Russian delays in the peace process.
