Carney mentioned the intention to establish a comprehensive economic agreement with India, aiming to bolster bilateral trade significantly. He highlighted the importance of this agreement, emphasizing its role in expanding commercial ties between the two countries. Recent discussions in India have already led to substantial commercial deals, with agreements exceeding $5 billion, fostering cooperation and investment between Canadian and Indian businesses.
The Canadian leader also underscored the significance of energy cooperation, particularly in civil nuclear energy, as part of the expanding partnership between Canada and India.
