Candidates in Bihar eagerly awaiting the TRE-4 teacher recruitment notification intensified their efforts by meeting Bihar Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha at his official residence on Strand Road. A delegation of aspirants presented a memorandum to the minister, urging the prompt issuance of the recruitment notification. They highlighted their ongoing protests and meetings with senior leaders on the matter.
The candidates informed Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha that they had previously submitted a similar memorandum to leaders, including former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Recalling Sinha’s earlier assurance when he was Deputy Chief Minister, the candidates sought a reminder of the commitment for releasing the TRE-4 notification. In response, Minister Sinha pledged to discuss the issue with Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari and Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary.
The delay in the TRE-4 recruitment process has been a significant concern for teacher aspirants in Bihar for months. Despite the government’s plan to recruit 20,000 teachers annually starting in July, candidates insist on the completion of the TRE-4 recruitment before implementing the new hiring framework. Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari had previously announced the recruitment of nearly one lakh teachers in Bihar over the next five years, with around 20,000 appointments expected this year.
The recruitment notification for TRE-4 is anticipated to be released through the Bihar Public Service Commission in July. However, candidates are seeking clarity on the recruitment schedule and the official notification release date, continuing their demands for transparency in the process.
