A team from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has initiated an on-site probe at Shambhu Hostel in Munna Chak following the mysterious death of a NEET aspirant. The CBI officials meticulously inspected the hostel premises, gathering visual evidence both inside and outside the building. To ensure security, a significant police presence, including women officers, was maintained during the investigation.
The arrival of CBI vehicles and personnel attracted a large crowd of locals eager to know the latest updates on the case. The deceased student, hailing from Jehanabad district, was residing at Shambhu Girls Hostel while preparing for the NEET exam. Her demise under suspicious circumstances has sparked public outcry and calls for a thorough inquiry.
Amid allegations from the deceased’s family of foul play involving rape and murder, the Bihar Police’s initial Special Investigation Team (SIT) faced skepticism. While the police asserted the incident as a suicide, escalating public pressure led to the case being transferred to the CBI by the Bihar government. The CBI has taken over the investigation, emphasizing a comprehensive examination of all possible leads and evidence.
With the agency’s assurance of a meticulous probe, officials have begun scrutinizing the case afresh, leaving no stone unturned. The ongoing CBI investigation has garnered significant public interest, with hopes that it will shed light on the circumstances surrounding the student’s tragic death.
