The Central Board of Film Certification has approved the release of director Sudha Kongara’s much-anticipated period film, ‘Parasakthi’, starring Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa, and Sreeleela with a U/A certificate. The film is set to hit theaters on January 10, a few days earlier than initially planned. The trailer reveals glimpses of the storyline set in 1964, showcasing relationships and conflicts among the characters.

The certification news has brought relief to theater owners and distributors, coming just a day before the scheduled release. The film’s trailer hints at a narrative involving family bonds, language politics, and resistance against oppressive forces. ‘Parasakthi’ has created high expectations among fans and movie enthusiasts, with music by G V Prakash and cinematography by Ravi K Chandran.

The story follows Sivakarthikeyan’s character, an engine driver, navigating personal and societal challenges amidst the backdrop of a Hindi imposition debate. As tensions rise, the narrative unfolds into a tale of defiance and unity against unjust authority. The film’s unique setting and character dynamics promise an engaging cinematic experience for viewers.
