Chambal Ghariyals extended their victorious run in the Madhya Pradesh League (MPL) T20 Scindia Cup 2026 by defeating Royal Nimar Eagles by 9 wickets in a rain-shortened match at Daly College, Indore. Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, the Ghariyals restricted the Eagles to 62/3 in seven overs. Kalyani Jadhav and Soniya Singh’s partnership helped the Eagles recover from a shaky start.
Kanishka Thakur’s aggressive batting propelled the Ghariyals to a swift start, with her unbeaten 46 guiding the team to victory in just 5.4 overs. Despite a minor setback with Jincy George’s dismissal, the Ghariyals maintained their momentum. Anamika Raghuvanshi’s bowling performance, taking one wicket for 11 runs, further bolstered the Ghariyals’ dominance.
In another match at Daly College, Gwalior Shernis secured a narrow 2-run win over Bhopal Wolves. Gwalior’s strong batting display, led by Nuzhat Parween and Sonam Yadav, saw them post a competitive total of 134/3 in 20 overs. Parween’s composed 50 and Sonam’s impressive innings set the stage for Gwalior’s victory.
The Shernis’ bowling attack, spearheaded by Riya Yadav and Khushi Yadav, maintained pressure on Bhopal Wolves throughout the innings. Despite a valiant effort by Aayushi Shukla and Rishita Parihar, the Wolves fell short by 2 runs. Riya Yadav’s four-wicket haul and Khushi Yadav’s three-wicket contribution were instrumental in securing the thrilling win for Gwalior Shernis.
