Amid the ongoing debate over the Aravalli range, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma criticized the Congress, accusing them of hypocrisy and spreading misinformation. Sharma responded to allegations of exploiting the Aravallis by questioning the Congress leadership’s own environmental track record. He emphasized that the Congress had no moral authority to lecture others on environmental protection.
Addressing the issue, CM Sharma challenged the Congress to reflect on their past decisions regarding the Aravalli range before criticizing his government. He specifically called out former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to review his actions in the past.
Highlighting the significance of the Aravalli region culturally and spiritually, CM Sharma stressed his government’s commitment to understanding its ecological, religious, and cultural importance. He assured that the BJP government remains dedicated to preserving nature and heritage.
