Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma inaugurated 207 new buses on Rajasthan Day to improve the state’s public transport system. The fleet includes 100 Blue Line buses, 79 non-AC buses, and 28 AC buses, enhancing transportation facilities for both rural and urban areas. The flag-off ceremony took place at the Ajmer Road bus terminal in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa.

Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa, Jaipur MP Manju Sharma, and Minister Jogaram Patel attended the event. Before the launch, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma inspected the new buses and conducted a traditional puja ceremony at the Hirapura Bus Terminal. The initiative aims to provide convenient, safe, and modern travel options for the state residents.

The new buses will revive discontinued routes, improving travel convenience for passengers. These buses, focusing on passenger comfort and safety, will operate on various routes across Rajasthan. Additionally, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma distributed ISI-marked helmets to 700 women to promote road safety and designated them as “Road Safety Pioneers.”
