Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced the state government’s initiative to uplift the Maratha community through education, skill development, and technology. He commended the SARATHI institute for its role in helping students succeed in various competitive exams. Under SARATHI’s guidance, many candidates have excelled in exams like UPSC, MPSC, and banking sectors.
The government’s policy focuses on Education, Training, and Employment to integrate the economically and educationally backward Maratha community. Initiatives include tuition fee waivers, financial aid schemes, and interest subsidies to support students and entrepreneurs. Fadnavis encouraged students to embrace modern skills like Artificial Intelligence and drone technology for future opportunities.
SARATHI’s expansion plans include setting up regional centers and hostels in different cities to further assist students. A new program, ‘Nipun Setu,’ will aid students who missed out on government jobs despite qualifying in competitive exams. Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar praised SARATHI as a catalyst for social change and youth empowerment, highlighting its commitment to educational progress and equality.
