A three-year-old child who went missing in Bengaluru was swiftly rescued and reunited with the parents thanks to the Bengaluru City Police’s quick action. The incident occurred on May 24 around 6.02 p.m. near a travels office, where the child got separated from the parents.
Upon receiving the alert, the Namma 112 control room immediately dispatched the Hoysala-77 patrol unit to the scene. Within 16 minutes, the police personnel located the missing child after conducting a thorough search in the vicinity.
The child was found safe and sound, and after verifying the necessary details, was handed back to the relieved parents by the police. This incident has been commended as a demonstration of efficient emergency response and collaboration by the Bengaluru City Police.
In a similar event, an elderly woman discovered wandering in a confused state on Jogupalya Road was also rescued by the Bengaluru City Police.
The incident, which took place on May 22 at approximately 10.43 p.m., involved an elderly woman aged around 80 to 85 years who seemed disoriented and in need of help. Responding promptly, the Namma 112 control room alerted the Hoysala-28 patrol unit from Halasuru Police Station.
Upon arrival, the police engaged with the woman, identified as “Lakshmamma,” who was unable to provide complete details due to memory issues. For her safety, the police arranged for her admission to the Sparsha Destitute Care Home, ensuring she received the necessary care and support.
This incident showcases the compassionate approach of the Bengaluru City Police towards assisting vulnerable individuals. The Hoysala patrol team’s swift response ensured the elderly woman’s well-being and dignity were preserved.
