Amid rumors of Tej Pratap Yadav possibly joining the NDA, Chirag Paswan, the President of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), stated that any decision in this regard would be collectively discussed by the NDA allies once a formal proposal is presented.
Paswan, while hosting a traditional Makar Sankranti ‘Dahi-Chura’ feast in Patna, mentioned that it would be premature to comment until an official decision is reached. He expressed affection and good wishes for Tej Pratap Yadav, emphasizing the distinction between family ties and political considerations.
The event, attended by senior NDA leaders like Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and others, saw Paswan extending his support to Nitish Kumar’s upcoming Samridhi Yatra, commending Bihar’s progress under his leadership and emphasizing the alliance’s commitment to the state’s development.
Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, also present at the event, conveyed Makar Sankranti greetings to the people of Bihar and wished Nitish Kumar success in his forthcoming yatra, highlighting the state’s advancements during the Chief Minister’s tenure.
Former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, extending his greetings on Makar Sankranti, acknowledged Chirag Paswan’s Dahi-Chura feast and well wishes at the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) state office.
