Congress Leaders Mourn Tragic Delhi Fire, Call for Support to Victims

Congress leaders, including Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, expressed sorrow over the 20 lives lost in a devastating fire in Delhi. The fire, which occurred at the Lemon Green Restaurant in Malviya Nagar, resulted in 20 fatalities and numerous injuries. Rescue efforts have saved 37 individuals, with ongoing searches for more survivors.

Mallikarjun Kharge conveyed his deep sadness, offering condolences to the affected families and speedy recovery wishes to the injured. He urged for adequate compensation and medical care for the victims, emphasizing the need for support from Congress members. Rahul Gandhi described the incident as “extremely heartbreaking,” urging all party workers to assist in relief operations and contribute to rescue efforts. He also expressed hopes for the swift recovery of the injured.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also shared her grief, calling the incident tragic and offering prayers for the deceased and injured. She appealed to Congress leaders and workers to extend their support to those affected by the fire. Senior officials from various departments are overseeing the situation, with prompt action taken to control the fire and provide assistance to the victims.
