The film ‘Yadav Ji ki Love Story’ is facing opposition from the Yadav community in Sambhal district, leading to a growing controversy. An FIR has been lodged against the film’s producer, director, hero, and heroine following complaints of hurting community sentiments. The FIR was filed at Dhanari police station in Gunnaur tehsil of Sambhal.
Arvind Kumar from Bhakrauli village filed the complaint, supported by over two dozen people, alleging misrepresentation of the Yadav community in the film. The producer Sandeep Tomar, director Ankit Bhadana, actress Pragati Tiwari, and actor Vishal Mohan are named in the case. The situation regarding the film’s release remains uncertain amidst ongoing discussions and protests in the area.
The protesting community spokesperson expressed discontent, stating that the film portrays the Yadav community inaccurately, deviating from its historical bravery. They demand a ban on the film and intend to take legal action against those responsible. The controversy unfolds against the backdrop of another film, ‘Ghuskhor Pandit,’ facing criticism from the Brahmin community.
