A man known as a cow vigilante, Chandrashekhar, was fatally run over in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura district during a pursuit of a vehicle believed to be involved in cattle smuggling. The incident occurred in the Kosi area near Navipur village under the Kosi Kalan police outpost limits. Chandrashekhar, also called “Farsa Wale Baba,” was on his motorcycle chasing a truck suspected of illegal cattle transportation when the suspects deliberately hit him, resulting in his death.
Authorities reported that one suspect was captured at the scene, while three others escaped, prompting a search operation to detain the remaining individuals.
