Ten months after her father, Santosh Jagdale, was killed in the Pahalgam terror attack, Asawari Jagdale is still awaiting the government job pledged to her family by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The Maharashtra government had announced financial aid and jobs for the families of the deceased following the tragic incident.
Asawari expressed frustration over the prolonged delay in receiving the promised job, mentioning that despite approaching officials and ministers multiple times, they did not receive a clear response. She highlighted the challenges faced by her family during this period and the lack of progress in the process.
Despite facing difficulties and a sense of hopelessness at one point, Asawari credited BJP leader Medha Kulkarni for stepping in and offering assistance. With Kulkarni’s intervention and subsequent involvement of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, the process has now been set in motion, bringing a sense of relief to Asawari and her family.
Asawari expressed gratitude towards Shinde for his support and assistance in resolving the matter. She emphasized the importance of continuing to follow up on the job promise until the formalities are completed and hopes for a swift resolution within the upcoming week.
