Additionally, Singh met with Canada’s Senior Associate Deputy Minister of National Defence, Kelvin Brosseau, to discuss strengthening India-Canada defense ties.
Singh also interacted with Seychelles’ Chief of Defence Forces Major General Micheal Rosette to bolster defense cooperation and maritime security collaboration in the Indian Ocean Region. The engagements emphasized India’s commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region. Furthermore, Singh held talks with NATO Military Committee’s Chair, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, focusing on strategic dialogue and global security challenges.
During the Shangri-La Dialogue, Singh met with US Indo-Pacific Command Commander Admiral Samuel J Paparo to enhance military cooperation and address emerging security issues in the Indo-Pacific region. The discussions underscored the shared commitment to deepening India-US strategic defense relations. Additionally, Singh engaged with think tanks and academia to strengthen the Indo-Pacific security architecture and defense collaborations.
Singh’s visit to the Digital Operations Technology Centre of the Singapore Armed Forces provided insights into Singapore’s advanced digital capabilities. The visit aimed to explore potential collaborations with the Indian Armed Forces in niche warfare domains. Moreover, he co-chaired the 16th Defence Policy Dialogue with Singapore’s Permanent Secretary (Defence) Joseph Leong, reinforcing the robust defense partnership between India and Singapore.
