Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva criticized Aam Aadmi Party’s Saurabh Bharadwaj for allegedly spreading falsehoods about Chief Minister Rekha Gupta’s “Green Budget.” Sachdeva dismissed Bharadwaj’s objections to the budget’s labeling as “Green,” calling them ignorant and aimed at garnering attention. He highlighted the government’s focus on health and education spending historically and criticized Bharadwaj’s opposition to the new budget theme.

In response to the BJP government’s “Green Budget,” Sachdeva accused Bharadwaj of engaging in frivolous opposition tactics. He explained that the budget allocations for road improvements, RRTS projects, e-buses, and the pink ticket scheme fall under the “Green Budget” category. Additionally, Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor criticized Kejriwal’s social media post as a repetitive political strategy to deflect attention from his alleged administrative failures and corruption.

Kapoor pointed out that despite Kejriwal’s past success in playing the victim card, the people of Delhi now see through his tactics and are no longer swayed by them. He emphasized that Kejriwal’s attempt to portray himself as a victim amid growing scrutiny of his governance is a desperate move that will not deceive the public any longer.
