Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva criticized the Aam Aadmi Party’s new campaign slogan, “Delhi in distress, remembering Kejriwal,” calling it a complete failure. He highlighted the poor state of Delhi’s infrastructure, roads, environment, sewer system, and ration card system during AAP’s 11-year rule.
Under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta’s leadership, the BJP government has made significant improvements to sewer systems and roads in its first year. Concrete steps have also been taken to address environmental pollution, including policy actions to eliminate fake ration cards and issue them to genuine beneficiaries.
The BJP government has introduced 2,000 electric buses in Delhi, along with initiatives such as providing free gas cylinders to underprivileged women during Holi and Diwali, distributing Pink Bus Cards, and enhancing maternity scheme benefits, fulfilling promises made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Allocating development funds ranging from Rs 100 to Rs 125 crore to each Assembly constituency, the Delhi BJP government aims for comprehensive and proper development across all areas. The President emphasized the commitment to addressing public grievances and maintaining accountability to the people on all matters.
The BJP government’s proactive measures have led to visible improvements in areas like sewer systems, with a focus on resolving issues that had plagued the city for decades. In new colonies like Kirari, where past scams affected sewer infrastructure, the current government has successfully managed waterlogging issues, demonstrating tangible progress within a short period.
