Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva criticized former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s governance, as revealed in a letter from Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena. The letter highlighted alleged corruption and administrative dysfunction during Kejriwal’s 10-year rule.
Sachdeva emphasized that the LG’s letter portrayed Kejriwal as someone who excelled in making announcements but failed in execution. The letter also accused Kejriwal of neglecting the pollution issue, despite public concerns.
The LG’s letter, comprising 56 points, reflected the grievances of Delhi’s citizens who endured public problems for a decade. Sachdeva pointed out that the AAP leaders, who had been critical of the current government, remained silent on the allegations raised in the letter.
Sachdeva demanded an explanation from Kejriwal regarding his purported dismissive attitude towards pollution issues. The LG criticized Kejriwal for his alleged role in stalling key projects that could have improved public transport and reduced air pollution in Delhi.
