Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva announced plans to conduct “Atal Smriti Sammelans” in all 70 Assembly constituencies from December 28 to 31. These events aim to educate party workers about the life and values of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. A similar gathering took place in the Kasturba Nagar Assembly constituency on December 25.
The “Atal Smriti Sammelans” in Kasturba Nagar were inaugurated by BJP National Working President Nitin Nabin, with Sachdeva also present. Sachdeva highlighted that these gatherings are intended to reinforce the organizational spirit among new party members. The BJP seeks to instill its ideological roots and the principles of its esteemed leaders in the new entrants.
Delhi BJP’s chief emphasized that the party operates based on the principles upheld by its senior leaders like Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya, and Atal Bihari Vajpayee. These events are designed to align party workers with the BJP’s ideology and enable them to learn from the experiences of senior figures. Additionally, the Delhi BJP recently organized a public grievance redressal camp at the party’s state office to address issues related to the Delhi government.
During the grievance redressal camp, a Delhi Cabinet Minister interacted with citizens and party workers to address their concerns. Education and Power Minister Ashish Sood also participated in the camp, listening to the problems of 47 individuals. Sood promptly engaged with relevant officials in some cases and issued directives for immediate action or responses within a week in others. The party’s “Sahyog Prakoshth” has been conducting these grievance redressal camps every Saturday at the state office since March 2025, following Virendra Sachdeva’s directive.
According to Sahyog Prakoshth Convenor Gulshan Virmani, more than 2,500 individuals have found solutions to their issues through these camps over the past 10 months.
