Delhi Capitals skipper Jemimah Rodrigues commended her team for halting Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s winning streak in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 with a seven-wicket triumph at the BCA Stadium in Vadodara. She credited the team’s belief and execution of plans for the success, emphasizing the importance of sticking to strategies.

Rodrigues praised her teammates’ performance, especially highlighting the bowling efforts and fielding that contributed to the victory. She acknowledged the pressure during the match but emphasized the team’s resilience and hard work in securing the win, attributing a significant portion of the credit to the players.

Reflecting on the match, Rodrigues mentioned the team’s focus on attacking the stumps rather than solely aiming for wickets. She emphasized the critical nature of the game against RCB and the team’s adherence to their plans. Rodrigues also expressed pride in the team’s character and ability to bounce back after setbacks, highlighting the importance of maintaining a winning mindset.

Rodrigues admitted to still learning as a captain but expressed enjoyment in the role, noting the value of learning from past mistakes. She emphasized the need for continuous improvement and adaptation, underscoring the team’s commitment to simplicity, execution, and adherence to processes for achieving positive outcomes.
