Delhi Capitals Women outperformed Gujarat Giants Women, winning by seven wickets to advance to the tournament final for the fourth consecutive time. Lizelle Lee and Jemimah Rodrigues led the charge with a strong batting display, easily chasing down Gujarat’s competitive target of 168/7.

Lee and Shafali Verma’s aggressive start in the powerplay, scoring 75 runs in six overs, set the tone for Delhi. Despite Lee’s dismissal for 43 and Shafali’s 31, skipper Jemimah Rodrigues’ quick 41 off 23 balls ensured Delhi’s victory. Laura Wolvaardt’s steady presence and Marizanne Kapp’s late cameo sealed the win for Delhi with 26 balls to spare.

Earlier, Gujarat Giants struggled against disciplined bowling, with Beth Mooney’s unbeaten 62 being the highlight. Despite Mooney’s efforts, Delhi’s strong performance with the bat, led by Lee and Rodrigues, proved too much for Gujarat.

Delhi Capitals Women will now face Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the final, setting up a rematch of the WPL 2024 final.
