Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta conveyed warm wishes to the city residents on the festive occasion of Holi, highlighting its significance as a symbol of harmony and togetherness. She stressed that Holi represents not just colors but also the shared culture and diversity that unites us. Gupta expressed hopes for joy and prosperity for all Delhiites and urged them to join hands in eradicating animosity to foster a cohesive and inclusive society.

She reiterated her government’s dedication to elevating Delhi’s infrastructure to global standards, emphasizing ongoing efforts to enhance transportation, roads, and modern amenities while addressing environmental concerns. Gupta envisioned a developed Delhi, where every individual takes pride, akin to the vibrant hues of Holi blending to create beauty. Encouraging eco-friendly celebrations, she advocated for the use of natural colors to promote environmental sustainability.

The Chief Minister underlined her commitment to crafting a secure and thriving Delhi, underscoring the significance of unity in propelling the city’s progress. Recognizing Delhi as the nation’s capital, she expressed confidence in the city’s populace, united in purpose, to realize the aspiration of a developed Delhi. The festive spirit extended to the Assembly, where Speaker highlighted Holi’s essence as a celebration of India’s rich heritage, democratic ethos, and moral triumph.

A grand event at the Assembly premises brought together diplomats, political figures, and public representatives in a display of cultural amity and global camaraderie. The gathering, graced by Ambassadors, High Commissioners, and dignitaries from the diplomatic community, along with Union Minister Harsh Malhotra, showcased diplomatic goodwill and national unity, echoing the festive spirit of Holi.
