Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta recently inaugurated and inspected various development projects in the Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency. The government’s focus is on enhancing local infrastructure, as emphasized during the event. Projects included the inauguration of civic amenities in AD Block Shalimar Bagh and AP Block Pitampura, along with a review of construction progress at KP Block Complex and the Chhath Ghat near Munak Canal.
Chief Minister Gupta highlighted the government’s commitment to extending development to all aspects of daily life, from colonies to parks, markets, roads, and neighborhoods. She stressed the importance of improved roads, drainage systems, clean public spaces, adequate lighting, and organized parking in enhancing citizens’ quality of life. The government’s continuous efforts aim to strengthen infrastructure at the grassroots level, focusing on basic facilities crucial for urban areas’ growth.
During the visit, Chief Minister Gupta inaugurated various construction works in AD Block Shalimar Bagh, including roads, drains, and lanes. Additionally, projects such as walkways, boundary walls in parks, public toilets, parking facilities, and infrastructure development in the DDA market were initiated. In the AP Block, Pitampura, she oversaw the construction of boundary walls, roads, drains, and other infrastructure enhancements in the market area.
Inspecting the KP Block Complex in Pitampura, Chief Minister Gupta reviewed ongoing projects related to roads, footpaths, parking, drainage systems, park redevelopment, and civic amenities. She also visited the under-construction Chhath Ghat near Munak Canal, ensuring that necessary arrangements are in place for devotees’ convenience, safety, and cleanliness.
