The Delhi High Court postponed the hearing on Salman Khan’s plea to halt the release of the film “Kala Hiran” without interim relief. The court instructed a full copy of the complaint to be given to the filmmaker, setting the next hearing for July 1.
Salman Khan’s lawyer argued that the movie is about the actor’s life without his approval. Despite the poster and trailer being out, the film’s release date remains undisclosed. The filmmakers’ counsel opposed urgent relief, citing incomplete document service.
After both sides were heard, the court directed Salman Khan to provide all documents to the respondent before the July 1 hearing. The dispute arose after Salman Khan’s team demanded the film’s suspension and removal of promotional materials, citing a threat to his legacy.
