The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has apprehended two members of gangster Goldy Dhillon’s group and seized weapons, mobile devices, and a motorcycle. Identified as Jatin Bhardwaj and Sukhwinder Singh, both 28-year-olds from Rajpura, Punjab, they were involved in aiding foreign-based gangsters in criminal activities. The arrests followed extensive surveillance and verification by the Anti-Robbery and Snatching Cell team.
The operatives were found facilitating the activities of overseas gangsters, including communicating through encrypted apps like Zangi and Signal. Jatin was caught with a pistol and cartridges in Rohini, leading to further arrests and recovery of additional firearms. He had a history of criminal involvement, while Sukhwinder, a childhood friend of Dhillon, supported the gang’s operations and controlled the criminal network in the region.
The arrests also led to the discovery of a semi-automatic pistol, a country-made pistol, live cartridges, a motorcycle, and mobile phones. Goldy Dhillon’s gang allegedly controlled illegal arms and drug trade in Punjab through intimidation and violence, aiming to monopolize the illicit market. The syndicate’s activities have been linked to serious offenses, including a recent murder investigation in Chandigarh, highlighting its extensive criminal network.
